Camp Friendship Summer Camp offer students 5 to 12 years old educational, safe, fun in a Christian environment. The 2013 camp will offer 5 two week sessions with education themed outings that focus on nature and science, economics, social studies, geography, architecture design, and we’ll wrap things up with a magic and comedy show that encourages students to learn and read by “laughologist”, Cody Fisher.
Daily camp activities include “Good Morning Jesus” which consists of songs and character lessons based on Bible stories. Also, crafts, team building activities and fun-filled energetic gym time.

Ruby Derrough, Director of Camp Friendship Summer Camp has been a licensed daycare director for 20+ years and is currently an elementary schoolteacher in the Lewisville Independent School District.
During her 13 year membership at Friendship Baptist Church of The Colony, she has served as Children’s Church Director, Youth Director, Vacation Bible School Director, Sunday School teacher and Summer Camp Director. Ruby is a wife and the mother of 5 children ranging in ages from 33 to 7 years old. Her goal and prayer is to use her experience to extend her love for education and commitment to God, children and families by offering programs that are educational, interesting and fun.
