Music Ministry BIO's
The Unified Choir of the Friendship Baptist Church of The Colony, Texas (a Dallas suburb) is an inspirational gospel music choir that is comprised of Christian singers and musicians who are under the leadership of Kevin O. Davis, Minister of Music. The mission of the Unified Choir is to sing the praises of God whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself for the sole purpose of ministering to the hearts, minds and souls of those seeking to hear from the Lord.
The FBC Unified Choir just recently recorded an awesome “Live” CD which was released in 2011. They worked with some of the top names in the gospel recording business on this recording. They will be promoting the project via a New Jersey/New York tour in the summer of 2011.

Mission
Our mission is to train young voices to sing and appreciate the music of the church. Also, encourage them in their worship to the Lord. In this praise, hearts will be touched and lives are changed. Our songs are to prepare the congregation to receive the Word of God.
Vision
Our vision is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and affirmation where youth will find musical challenge, spiritual safety and a sense of belonging.
The Male Ensemble at Friendship Baptist Church of The Colony, Texas
The FBC Male Ensemble consists of men selected by the Minister of Music based on their commitment to the Music Ministry, talent and availability. Each member has the ability to be a soloist as well as hold various harmonic notes. This group of committed men sing on Fifth Sundays in the month. They minister through music in prisons, nursing homes, choir festivals and accompany the Pastor when called upon. Friendship Baptist Church does not have a Male Chorus. For men who have a passion for singing, they are encouraged to become a part of our Unified Choir.
